AARP Life Reimagined – a program presenting an approach/tools to help you rediscover what you want to do with your life. (  and ( is building a movement to make it easier for millions of people to pursue second acts  (i.e., “encore careers” ) for the greater good in the second half of life - jobs that combine personal meaning, continued income and social impact.  Provides free, comprehensive information that helps people transition to jobs in the nonprofit world and the public sector.

RSVP ( is one of the largest volunteer networks in the nation for people 55 and over. You can use the skills and talents you’ve learned over the years, or develop new ones while serving in a variety of volunteer activities within your community.

( search for books on the non-financial elements of retirement planning and read the reviews to assess which may best fit your needs.
