UWRA is an independent 501(c)3 voluntary membership association with approximately 500 individual members. Members include active United Way staff, former employees with significant career experience with United Way, and individuals who have retired from the United Way network.
Making Connections (STAY CONNECTED) UWRA members continue to be a part of the United Way network by attending member gatherings, keeping up with UWRA Updates newsletter, participating in UWRA's listerv discussions, and referencing the UWRA Member Directory. UWRA members may opt-in to access United Way Online (UWO) and receive the daily Breakfast email from United Way Worldwide, which includes job postings across the United Way network.
Making a Difference (MAKE A DIFFERENCE) UWRA members engage in system citizenship by filling important interim roles while United Ways recruit new hires. Some UWRA members also offer coaching, mentoring, and specialized consultative support to help United Way executives navigate their positions. Please email UWRA to get involved.
