Registration fee: $80 per person*

You are invited to reconnect with your former colleagues and renew friendships with fellow UWRA members at the 2019 Gathering. The itinerary includes optional activities (see below) and daily opportunities to gather together in the hospitality suite at the beginning and end of each day.

Preliminary itinerary:

Monday (9/30) -  Travel day and Welcome Reception hosted by United Way Worldwide’s Executive Leadership Team.

Tuesday (10/1) – Morning visit to the National Museum of African American History, followed by lunch and a water taxi to National Harbor where the group will have dinner.

Wednesday (10/2) – Lecture tour of the Library of Congress. Dinner at the DC Central Kitchen, followed by a Monuments by Moonlight tour.

Thursday (10/3) – Optional visits to Mount Vernon or The Newseum. Happy Hour with all UWRA members and former colleagues.

Friday (10/4) – Closing goodbyes and travel home.

*The registration fee ($80 pp) covers daily refreshments in UWRA's hospitality suite (coffee each morning and a Happy Hour reception with beer, wine and snacks each afternoon/evening). Meals and entry fees for optional group activities will be paid separately by participants.

2. Reserve your hotel room: Our host hotel is the Sheraton Suites Old Town Alexandria (801 N St Asaph St, VA 22314). UWRA's group rate is $159 plus tax. Reservations must be booked by September 10th to qualify for the group rate. Click here to reserve online.
