Who is UWRA?
UWRA is an independent 501(c)3 voluntary membership association with approximately 500 individual members (current and former United Way staff) and more than 200 organizational members from supporting state and local United Ways.
What Does UWRA Do?
UWRA works to keep current and former United Way employees connected to each other and our mission through member communications, events, and educational programming. UWRA also provides leadership in the preservation of the history and traditions of the United Way network.
UWRA’s priorities are:
- Inviting current and former United Way staff to stay connected and involved
- Connecting members to each other, resources, and opportunities to promote system citizenship
- Committing to make a difference, transfer knowledge, and mobilize our unique resources for change
- Partnering to ensure a vital system of support for current and former staff of the United Way network
